Among the highlights of the day is the naming of the Farm Family of the Year and Agribusiness of the Year. The Pat Lee Memorial Scholarships will also be presented to two outstanding high school seniors.
“We are also fortunate to have U.S. Congressman Mike Conaway as our keynote luncheon speaker.”

“As is our custom, our program will open in the morning and close in the afternoon with concurrent producer and homeowner tracks featuring a diverse set of expert speakers,” Vahlenkamp said. “We will also offer an optional auxin herbicide training at the end of the day for any producer who may still need that particular training.”
The producer program will include a cotton technology update by Dr. Seth Byrd, AgriLife Extension cotton agronomist, Lubbock; farm equipment laws and regulations presented by Sargent Justin Baker, Texas Department of Public Safety, San Angelo; and weather patterns and forecast outlook by Hector Guerrero, warning and coordinating meteorologist, San Angelo.
