SDSU Extension Heifer Development Webinar Series 2019
BROOKINGS, S.D. – SDSU Extension’s Fifth Annual Heifer Development Webinar Series begins March 15, 2019.
The three-part webinar series will focus on key areas of heifer development including:
- Calving and breeding season preparation tips
- Feed toxin management
“All three sessions will provide valuable information for commercial and seed stock producers to utilize when making decisions for replacement females and the mature cowherd.”
Webinar sessions will run March 15, 21 and 28. All sessions will begin at noon CST/ 11 a.m. MST and run for one hour through Zoom online video conference software.
“These webinars can be viewed from anywhere with internet access, allowing producers to take advantage of this learning opportunity without leaving the ranch,” Grussing said.
Participants will be able to interact with presenters and ask questions during webinars by typing their questions into a chat box. The series will be recorded, allowing registrants to view presentations anytime. Sessions can be viewed more than once.
